About Megan

Megan is a creative leader, producer, and dramaturg with over 20 years of experience in interdisciplinary performing arts cultivating meaningful relationships, raising capital, implementing effective communication strategies, and navigating organizational change.

Most recently, Megan developed a comprehensive legacy plan which raised nearly $2 million for SITI Company, an award-winning theatre ensemble. The plan covered curating and producing SITI’s ambitious finale season, launching the SITI Living Archive, and developing and editing a retrospective book.

Her consulting practice draws from extensive leadership experience, including roles as Producing Director of CalArts Center for New Performance, Director of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation, and Associate Artistic Director of WP Theater. At WP Theater, she managed new play development, playwright commissions, and led the Lab for Directors, Playwrights, and Producers while collaborating on organizational growth and strategic initiatives. Megan has guided organizations through complex transitions, capital campaigns, and succession planning processes. Her approach combines deep understanding of creative processes with practical business acumen, helping arts organizations build sustainable futures while maintaining their artistic integrity. Education: MFA in Dramaturgy, Brooklyn College/CUNY; BA in Theatre, Centenary College of Louisiana. She is currently on faculty at Einhorn School for the Performing Arts (ESPA).
